Naomi Bitton is a first-generation, Miami-based photographer and arts professional. Rooted in self-reflection and cultural observation, her artistic practice blends self-portraiture with a documentary style to investigate how individuals—especially today's youth—navigate and resist societal expectations around gender, belonging, and personal narratives. Using photography as both a mirror and a lens, Naomi invites viewers to look inward—questioning how you see your own self reflected within the image, and how your identities aligns with or pushes against broader societal views.
She holds a B.A in both Art and Economics from Pace University in New York City, with minors in Photography and Environmental Studies. Naomi has also taken specialized courses at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), New York, and the International Center of Photography (ICP), New York. Currently, she works as a Curatorial Administrative Assistant at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), contributing to research and exhibition development.
Her work has been recognized with several awards, including the Scholastic American Vision Award Nomination and Gold Key Awards, honors from The Nature Conservancy, and the Pace University Excellence in Research Award for Art for her project, "Do You Know Who You Are?".
She has had her work showcased in the following group exhibitions and catalogs:
