Naomi Bitton is a first-generation artist living and working in Miami, FL. She uses photography as a tool of expression, analyzing relationships between an individual and the collective. Her visual projects question social constructs and the world at large. Naomi often uses herself and her surroundings to meditate on topics around identity, cultural impacts, gender, and issues facing today's youth. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pace University (NYC) in both Art and Economics, with minors in both Photography and Environmental Studies. She has also taken specialized courses at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), New York, and the International Center of Photography (ICP), New York. Currently, she works as a Curatorial Assistant at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM).
Notable Awards include Scholastic’s American Vision Award Nominee, The Nature Conservancy and Zoo Miami Student Photo Contest, and Pace University’s Excellence in Research Award for Art (Do You Know Who You Are? Project).
